It all started with a cake smash, and look at us now!! 🥹
One of the best parts of this job is watching families grow and personalities REALLY come to life! We’ve gone from shy little smiles to a full-on catwalk, and while I’m absolutely here for the confidence, I do miss that sweet shyness just a little! 😂
I love that this journey keeps me caught up on all the good stuff, year after year. The milestones, the personalities, the stories…it’s always a blast catching up with this crew!
Here’s your little reminder that these yearly sessions only get more fun as the kids grow! 🤍

After 17+ years of photographing families, I’ve learned a LOT of names. I remember names from sessions years ago, forget names I’ve known for decades, mix up siblings, call husbands by their kids’ names, and occasionally call someone the WRONG name for an entire session. With confidence, might I add. 💀😂
There are a LOT of names floating around in this head, and I promise I’m trying to keep them all straight!
This is why those questionnaires exist, people! They help jog my memory before your session.
And when I ask for everyone’s names, PLEASE don’t respond with “Mom, Dad, Daughter, Son.”
FOR REAL?! That is not helping the situation. 🤣
So if we’re shooting together and I call you the wrong name, mix up your kids, rename your husband, or say something that isn’t even remotely close to anyone’s actual name…just roll with me.
I promise I know who you are. I just might not know what to call you at that particular moment. 😂
I’ll get it right one day. Maybe.

BIG things are happening, friends!! And I am beyond excited to finally share what’s next!
Coming January 2027, we’re kicking off the new year in a NEW STUDIO in The Woodlands!! A bigger, brighter space with endless possibilities to create, grow, and continue capturing all the beautiful moments that make your stories so special.
After 12 incredible years in Old Town Spring, saying goodbye to my beloved studio is going to be bittersweet. Those walls have held so many memories, milestones, newborn snuggles, laughter, and families who have become such a special part of my life.
The next couple of months will be an emotional mix of packing up the old and dreaming up the new. But goodness, I am SO excited for what’s ahead!!
You’ve been right there with me every step of the way, and that makes this next chapter even more meaningful. I cannot wait to bring you along for the journey, share little sneak peeks, and eventually welcome you into my beautiful new home away from home!
Different walls, a little more room to dream, but the same heart behind every photograph.
