Little Craft Place

This isn’t our usual cute reel or pretty photo, but it’s something important we want to share.

Every year, we lose about 15% of our inventory to theft, and the impact reaches further than most people realize. It affects why some items are locked up, why certain stickers and journals can’t be displayed freely, why we no longer sell open stock pens or pins, and even why our restroom stays locked.

We’ve spent over 10 years building a space centered around creativity, joy, and community. But ongoing theft affects our ability to grow, bring in new products, create fun displays, and continue operating the kind of storefront we’ve always dreamed of. Truthfully, it’s one of the reasons we’ve had conversations about whether we may eventually need to move to online-only sales.

We’re sharing this not to shame anyone, but to be honest about what small businesses quietly face every day.

Please don’t steal from small businesses. And if you see something suspicious, please say something. Protecting small businesses helps protect the spaces and communities we all love.
