We’re excited to share that Mike Granby will be joining Monico as our new President & Chief Technology Officer, effective January 1, 2026.

Mike brings over 40 years of experience in industrial automation, HMI development, and software innovation. After founding and growing his own HMI company in the UK, he went on to serve as President of Red Lion Controls for 17 years, helping to grow the organization from $30M to $120M in annual revenue.

In recent years, Mike has worked closely with Monico owner and founder Doyle Taylor as a software developer and consultant, contributing to key architectural and development initiatives that continue to shape Monico’s technology roadmap. As part of this transition, Doyle will remain involved as Chairman of the Board, continuing to guide Monico’s strategy and technology vision.

Mike’s initial focus will be:

🔹 Streamlining and automating mCore deployments;
🔹 Improving project delivery and further improving customer support;
🔹 Driving innovation across Monico’s cloud and edge technologies; and
🔹 Expanding the company into new and emerging markets

Doyle Taylor, CEO/Owner, Monico, Inc. will be joining EMC 2020 as one of our esteemed speakers.

Since graduating from the Texas A&M Engineering Department in 1982, Doyle pursued every increasingly technical position where he could develop expertise that was valuable to his customers. Previous to Monico, He spent 18 years with a family owned company that taught him a great deal about quality, innovation, and technical support. When he purchased Monico in 2004, he fully intended to use these learned lessons to build a world-class company.
