Spring Firefighters are responding to multiple fireworks-related emergency calls this 4th of July.
Always soak spent fireworks in water overnight. Do this outside, away from any structures. Putting used fireworks in a trash can inside a garage or close to a building is a fire waiting to happen.

Today we celebrate the 250th birthday of America, an ideal rooted in certain unalienable Rights, including Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
If you are using fireworks to celebrate, please put safety first.
*Follow all manufacturer's directions.
*Only sober adults should light fireworks.
*Used fireworks should be soaked overnight before throwing them away.
Have a safe 4th of July!
