Heard a lot of great things about Kasian Kitchen HTX Crawfish & Seafood, but it just didn’t hit today 😞

Price: $7.99/lb

Peel: Honestly perfect. Every single one peeled with no struggle at all.

Taste: Ordered the Kasian-style sauce, and the flavor just didn’t come through unless I really sucked the head or drenched them in the sauce sitting at the bottom of the bag. Outside of that, it leaned heavy on salty and peppery. Also, the bugs weren’t the cleanest.

Spice: Got medium level, and it definitely had heat—but again, more salty-hot than flavorful. It didn’t give a true Cajun or Asian vibe… just spice without depth.

Service: Super quick. I paid and had my food in about 30 seconds, which was impressive.

Final Score 🏁: 5.5/10

Taste: Classic Cajun boil, clean, full of flavor and a solid kick.

Size: Smedium to large (good mix)

Spice: Just about perfect. I went with the house boil and it brought the heat without overdoing it.

Peel: A little work on the smaller ones, but overall not bad.

Service: Friendly, welcoming, and quick.

From what I’ve seen this season, they’ve been consistent every time — no off days.

Price- $6.99/pound (great deal)

Service: GREAT! My waitress was very attentive and checked on me often. Butter was $1, but she gave it to me on the house—which I appreciated.

Taste: Honestly, not the best. The crawfish lacked seasoning and flavor. It mostly tasted like unclean boil water.

Cleanliness: The crawfish weren’t as clean as I would’ve preferred. And yes, I know they’re mudbugs—but still makes a difference.

Peel: No issues here. They peeled easily.

Size: Medium to large- Good mix

Dang… I just checked and saw 5 lbs for $35 for the rest of the day… I guess I should’ve waited a few more hours before pulling up. 😞
