Spring Physical Therapy was featured in the Houston Chronicle today sharing Myra's story - we're honored to be a part of her healing journey!

After months of extensive pain with no answers, Myra finally found answers as to why she was experiencing so much pain (and it wasn't in her head).

In partnership with Dr. Kerr and Mischer Neuroscience Associates, Myra came to Spring Physical Therapy following her surgery to complete extensive Physical Therapy 3x a week. We're so incredibly proud of Myra and how hard she has worked to regain function and strength!

Balance training isn’t just for athletes—it’s a powerful tool for injury recovery too. 💪

At Spring Physical Therapy, we use balance boards to help patients rebuild strength, stability, and control after injury. By challenging your balance, we activate important stabilizing muscles in the core, hips, knees, and ankles while improving proprioception (your body’s awareness in space).

For athletes, this type of training can improve coordination, reaction time, and performance. For patients recovering from injury, it helps safely retrain the muscles and joints that need extra support before returning to activity.
