CUSTOM JOB - Inspiration comes from different places - even your own work! I recreated a look from a previous project that my customer saw, loved and wanted for her own piece. And I was excited to do it as every project is unique in its design, application and result. “Julie” was a common little pine dresser that served as a blank slate with loads of potential. Now she has her own personality and style thanks to a beautifully designed pattern of vines, birds and squirrels. This paint inlay application can be tricky and definitely has a learning curve but never disappoints if you keep in mind it’s not a perfect process and the result is a vintage aged look that is timeless. New complimentary vintage style drawer pulls completed the update and contributed in making for a very happy customer!

Happy Monday! 🌻 Here’s a small project I created about a year ago for a sweet friend who trusted me with this antique window pane from her country home to make it interesting, beautiful and functional! I’m posting this now because Farmhouse Inspired is currently offering in-house workshops to teach you how to do one for yourself! All supplies included (even the window pane!) and a fun way to learn how to incorporate decor transfers into your furniture and craft projects. This vintage desk “Mikala” is showing off her fun and colorful coral look with floral drawer accents and a touch of gold. The paint color has a light whitewash and the drawers were fully painted and decoupaged for a clean new finish. Currently on display for local purchase at Farmhouse Inspired in Old Town Spring, TX.

“Brian” was a custom job and bit of a challenge because of the absolute vision the customer had for the transformation of this classic Queen Anne dresser (scroll down for before pic). Even a piece of this style can go from very traditional to trendy modern with paints and updated hardware. Now looking gorgeous and oh so natural. And the best part is a happy customer! 🤍🤎🤍
