Man, this one hurts. I found out yesterday that Sam Keith passed away. Sam Keith was a wonderful comic book artist who was ahead of his time, IMO. Last year we tried to pursue him as a comic guest for POP CULTURE CON, but getting in contact with him was very difficult

I was first introduced to him through his earlier illustrations in Batman and Detective Comics, pre-Knightfall story line and then continued following him in his title called the Maxx. I pray for his family and friends, because he will truly be missed.

I hope that his contribution to comics will never be forgotten. R.I.P Mr. Sam Keith, your work will always be appreciated by me. 😔
