I’ve heard this story way too many times…
A buyer purchases a home, gets the general inspection done, everything seems fine…
Then later, they find out the pool has leaks, equipment issues, or costly repairs.
So I ask them:
“Did you have a separate pool inspection done?”
And the answer is almost always… no.
That’s exactly why I made this post.
A general home inspection is just the first step. It checks the major components of the home.
But when something specific comes up like a pool you NEED a specialist to take a deeper look.
👉 That specialist will tell you exactly what’s wrong
👉 And how much it’s actually going to cost to fix
And here’s the most important part:
All repairs and inspections should be handled BEFORE closing.
Don’t ever rely on:
“We’ll take care of it after closing.”
At your final walk-through, make sure everything is completed and done right.
