Busy mind.
Heavy heart.
Too many responsibilities.
Not enough peace.
Have you been carrying worries that God never asked you to carry?
This week during our 5 AM LIVE, we're talking about what it means to stop living under the weight of anxiety, overthinking, and pressure—and start resting in God's presence.
Together we'll discover how to:
-Release worry instead of rehearsing it
-Trust God with what we cannot control
-Find peace in the middle of life's demands
- Keep our minds focused on Him
- Learn to cast our cares on the Lord
If you've been feeling mentally exhausted, spiritually drained, or stretched thin by the demands of life, this week is for you.
Join me each morning at 5 AM as we learn how to trade anxiety for peace and choose God's presence over pressure.

SisterFriend,
Have you ever noticed that sometimes what you're feeling isn't exhaustion, disappointment, loneliness, or even stress?
It's thirst.
A thirst that no amount of success, productivity, relationships, possessions, or accomplishments can satisfy.
This week, I want to invite you to join us in reading Psalm 63.
David writes these words while in the wilderness—far from comfort, surrounded by uncertainty, and longing for God's presence. Yet instead of focusing on what he lacks, David recognizes what he needs most:
"O God, You are my God; earnestly I seek You; my soul thirsts for You..."
Psalm 63 reminds us that every heart has a thirst that only God can satisfy. So often we look horizontally for what can only be found vertically. We search for peace in circumstances, fulfillment in achievements, security in people, and comfort in things that were never designed to carry the weight of our souls.
But David points us back to the only One who can truly satisfy.
As we continue reading Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World, what a beautiful reminder that the answer to our deepest longing is not found in doing more, achieving more, or carrying more.
It is found in sitting at His feet.
This week, let's slow down together.
• Spend with the Lord.
• Read Psalm 63.
• Join us as we continue Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World.
• Follow along with our daily reflection prompts shared in the comments.
• Ask God to reveal the places you've been looking for satisfaction apart from Him.
Whether you're feeling spiritually dry, emotionally weary, or simply longing for more of God's presence, there is living water available for your soul.
Let's choose presence over pressure.
Let's stop chasing what cannot satisfy.
Let's discover again that His love is better than life.
💙 Comment below: "I'm in!" if you'll be reading with us this week.
"Because Your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise You." — Psalm 63:3
The soul was made for God, and it will never find rest until it finds its rest in Him.
Looking To Jesus,
Theresa
ACTIVATE THE OFF BUTTONS. I’ve come to love the off buttons. If it has an off button – it gets pushed. The phone is off, the TV is off, anything even possibly interruptive gets turned off. And if the world had an off button (Glory to God) it would be pushed as well.
