πΏ Watershed Warriors: Spring Valley County Library Cleanup Results! πΏ
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined the cleanup on October 18, 2025, hosted by I Love A Clean San Diego, The Spring Valley Community Alliance, and Street Stewards! πͺ
Hereβs what our amazing volunteers accomplished:
π₯ Volunteers: 24
ποΈ Trash Collected: 82 lbs
β»οΈ Recycling Collected: 16 lbs
The Spring Valley Library sits near baseball and football fields, as well as nearby schools β areas that tend to collect litter.
π ILACSD provides small cups attached to cleanup buckets, helping volunteers separate cigarette waste. This allows the cigarette butts β including the one pound collected at this event β to be sent to TerraCycle for recycling, where the plastic filters are properly processed. π
Every cleanup makes a difference β thank you to everyone helping keep Spring Valley clean and beautiful! π
