As a physicist, Judo master, and mechanical engineer, Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais studied movement for most of his life, and in doing so developed the Feldenkrais Method®. As a result of our environment, we adopt physical and psychological patterns of behavior. These patterns are integrated into our nervous system, and sometimes result in dysfunction, creating limitations and pain throughout our system.
The secret to feeling good everywhere. At least it is for me and other people I know. You need to do it daily for a week or so as long as it feels good, then take a few days off and do it again. I like to lay a hand towel on the floor of the shower so my lower legs are on the towel. Then I turn on the water hitting my back keeping my mouth open slightly so the water goes away from my mouth. You can also try putting your palms on your cheeks, chin resting in your hands so that your more upright if that feels better. Same motion back and forth but you move your pelvis from side to side instead of pushing your elbows into the floor. Either way works great but they do give relief in different areas depending on which postion you choose.
