Spring Lake Bands

The Jazz Band sounds great at “Dancing on the Grand” - so cool of all the seniors to keep rehearsing long after they are done to pull off this great night for the community!

Wednesday night! Come see the jazz band for the last time this year!

Welcome, Welcome, Welcome!!! The time has come, finally!!! Opening our summer series as they have for many years, please join us in welcoming The Spring Lake High School Jazz Band, under the direction of Mike Truszkowski. The Spring Lake High School Jazz Band was named as an outstanding band at the 2022, 2023 & 2024 Western Invitational Jazz Festival at WMU. The band also receives 1st division ratings at the MSBOA State Jazz Festival frequently. We are excited to have the band as our MOTG season opening again before students venture off on their new journeys. Their performance will include a variety of music including big band classics, some pop and contemporary pieces. While enjoying the music, feel free to dance the night away, relax in your own lawn chair, have some ice cream, and enjoy the waterfront views! It will be a fantastic evening! Another great Memorial Day with the Spring Lake Bands! 🎺 🎶 🇺🇸

What started as a short conversation between area band directors ended up a very memorable night of Middle School
Jazz! Mona Shores, Grand Haven and Spring Lake all played for each other for a wonderful audience.

Not only did we make great music, but we had dinner together and some great “totally middle school” bonding that was loud, full of energy and featured chicken dancing, Macarena and conga lines! SO. MUCH. ENERGY!

The store closes Friday the 15th!

Every year we offer marching band “show shirts,” but we’ve heard from many of you asking for general Spring Lake Band apparel too — and now it’s here!

The online store is officially open with lots of apparel options, styles, and colors to choose from. The store will remain open through May 15, and all orders will be delivered before the end of the school year.
