A perm can enhance the appearance of hair by adding volume and movement, but it's crucial to maintain it with the appropriate products and techniques. After rinsing out the perm solution and neutralizer, I recommend using an acidic milk rinse to eliminate any lingering smells and extend the life of the perm. To achieve beautiful styles, use the right styling products in the LOC/G/F method, which involves applying a leave-in conditioner, oil, and either a cream, gel, or foam. For most hair types, a small amount of oil is sufficient, applied from the middle to the ends of the hair. Mist the leave-in conditioner thoroughly throughout the hair, and use the cream, gel, or foam to hold flyaways in place. Water helps ensure that the products coat every strand of hair evenly. Once you've applied the products, it's time to diffuse. When using a diffuser, set it to low heat and low speed to prevent frizz and handle the hair gently without touching it.
