Currently in the state of Florida 99% is in a state of drought. 80% is in extreme drought. That being said, it is not stopping from AI data centers aggressively trying to open in our state. These type of data centers are different than regular cloud storage centers. These bad boys use anywhere between 1 and 1.8 billion gallons of water a year! This is the same amount of water that 10,000 to 50,000 residential homes would use within a year. This valuable resource, is not something the residents nor the ecosystem can handle parting with at this time. I say no data centers in our backyard. I will fight for the good of the people. I will protect your resources. I will not let big business take advantage of my constituents! I do not take any money from super PACS nor AiPAC.
