HOW TO KEEP YARROW FROM FLOPPING.
Cutting yarrow at just the right stage is so important. Otherwise you could end up with what we refer to as yarrow flop.

Yarrow flop is yarrow that looks terribly wilted and it literally flops over because it was cut too early.

For the BEST results, wait until all the flowers on the stem of yarrow are fully open, give it the yarrow wiggle to make sure the stem is nice and stiff. If both of these are true, then the yarrow is ready to harvest.

Cut and place it in a cool bucket of water to hydrate.
