After years of saying “one day,” that day is finally here!

I officially graduated cosmetology school✨

This journey has been a long time coming. I wanted to go to cosmetology school back in 2019, but life had other plans. Even so, if you’ve known me for any length of time, you know this was always where I was meant to end up. Ever since I was a little girl, I was obsessed with makeup, hair, beauty, and transforming things into something beautiful.

The past year wasn’t easy. There were plenty of days when I went from school straight to work, putting in 14 hour days to make it all happen. There were moments when I was exhausted, overwhelmed, and questioned whether if I could keep pushing forward. But I did.

Through every challenge, every early morning, every late night, and every setback, I kept showing up. Even with my ongoing health issues of finding out I have stage 4 Endometriosis. And now, 1600 hours later, I’m officially a cosmetology graduate.

To everyone who supported me, encouraged me, trusted me with their hair (and even let me fix it when I knew I could’ve given better work) and believe in me when I was struggling to believe in myself, thank you. Most importantly, I want to thank my partner Stuart, for being my rock. I truly could not have completed school without his love, encouragement, financial help, and all the times he let blab on about hair stuff he doesn’t even understand ❤️ I truly could not have done it without him. Thank you my love.

This is the end of one chapter, and the beginning of a career that I’ve dreamed about for years 🖤

The Mourning Stylist is ready for her next chapter. 🕸️🕷️🔮⚰️
