Thank you to the community members, family and friends who came out for the public reception of Tracing Alki a couple weeks ago! The rain clouds parted just in time to enjoy fresh air, good conversation, coffee, and donuts- all while marveling at the stunning beauty that is Alki. I continue to reflect on the four-year journey of creating this project with Seattle Public Utilities and Office of Arts & Culture Seattle. It has been a wild ride! I believe that art can be a connecting place between worlds, but I'm still a little floored when I get to truly experience what that means.

Join us this Saturday, December 2nd, on the West Seattle waterfront! I will be there alongside the Office of Arts & Culture Seattle and Seattle Public Utilities to celebrate my newest installation, Tracing Alki, and the completion of the freshly updated Pump Station 38. There is much to celebrate: successful partnerships, dedication, perseverence, protected waterways for the future, and a wonderfully engaged community to name just a few.
