Project Hope is an annual event ran by Ferris High School's theater arts department! This includes beginning, intermediate, and advanced theater and stagecraft students. Each year we focus on an important/major problem or challenge we face as a community and we fund raise and perform to donate to charities working with these challenges!

This year Ferris Theatre Department will be tackling the issue of Harassment. All our profit will be going to RAINN.com.
We invite you to come May 10-11th at 7pm for only $5.

Tonight, Friday, May 19, the theatre students of Ferris High School will be presenting “Project Hope: Building Positive Self Image,” a service-based learning project to benefit the Sacred Heart Psychiatric Center for Children and Adolescents. Each of the Ferris theatre classes will be putting on a short play with the goal to promote the idea that each individual has infinite worth. KatyAnn Kato, who is also a PBL student, is working with Adams Elementary students to produce “Sneeches” as well tonight. In this project, the students assume all the roles generally taken on by adult directors and production managers, including directing, lighting and sound design, marketing, and stage managing. The plays will be as follows:
“Unmasked,” written and directed by Honeylee Black and performed by the Beginning theatre class;
“But We Don’t,” written by Alan Haehnel, directed by Allie Pinnock, and performed by the Intermediate-Advanced theatre class.
The production will also include a short presentation from Ferris Theatre Arts Director Mary Cooper and seniors Joe Martin and Allie Pinnock.
The project is entirely non-profit and all proceeds will benefit the Sacred Heart PCCA. It will take place on May 19 at 7pm in the Paul G. Brueggemeier Auditorium, Ferris High School, 3020 E. 37th Ave. Tickets will be available for $5 at the door. The students have worked incredibly hard to put this production together. You won’t want to miss it!

Project Hope: Finding Hope. Thursday & Friday only, 7pm, $5. All proceeds benefit Volunteers of America's Spokane Crosswalk. Helping teens in crisis...student written, acted, directed and produced all for a great cause. Come to the show, help a teen through domestic or substance abuse, depression or even homelessness.
Five more days until the first night of Project Hope! Tickets are 5$ at the door and show starts at 7pm in the Ferris auditorium
