Fall Maintenance Tip 3: Frost on the pumpkin means frost on your hose bib "Outside Spiket". If your house is not equipped with frost free hose bibs you will need to locate the nearest shutoff valves and close them. It is also a good Idea to cover the bibs with an insulated bib cover. you can get these inexpensive covers at most hardware stores. NEVER LEAVE A HOSE CONNECTED TO YOU HOSE BIB THROUGH THE WINTER, This can cause your plumbing to burst! Until next time be well and don't forget to invest in your investment.
