Customers often ask why certain candle styles feature multiple wicks. How a candle burns varies depending on the candle size and taper.
You’ll often see multiple wicks in larger candles because the goal is to create a candle that burns evenly. Wick testing helps us determine candle burn patterns. The correct wicks, sizing, and placement reduces the odds of excess, unmelted soy way around the sides of the candle.
Small containers need smaller wicks, bigger need bigger. And there are endless types of wicks on the market too.
Dandles uses:
• cotton wicks
• cotton wicks with zinc cores
• cotton with paper cores
