Spokane County is celebrating the official opening of Camas Meadow Community Park! County Commissioner Al French (District 5) is joined by other elected officials and neighborhood supporters.
Camas Meadow is Spokane County’s newest park and features sports facilities – including an off-leash dog park – to serve the growing number of families moving to the West Plains.

Tomorrow, May 15, Spokane County parks and their amenities will be open! What are some of your favorite Spokane County parks?
That’s right! Park Season is here!
Park Season 2026 runs from May 15–September 27. Restrooms will be open and grounds crews will be out preparing parks for the summer. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back to the great outdoors!
