Just like that, the Class of 2026 has completed their final class day of the year—Stepping Up Day!

We are incredibly grateful to our host, Rockwood Retirement Communities, and our class sponsor, Spokane Rotary Club 21, for making this impactful day possible.

During the event, class members presented their community service projects for the opportunity to earn a $1,500 grant from the Avista Foundation to support the organization they partnered with. We are excited to announce that the Northwest Autism Center has been selected to receive this year's award in recognition of the team's outstanding work supporting the Steps for Autism Walk. Every team made a meaningful impact through their service and dedication to our community.

Thank you to all of the guest speakers and alumni who contributed to Stepping Up Day. Your support, insight, and presence continue to make a lasting difference for our participants.

Congratulations, Class of 2026, on an incredible year!

Major congratulations to our friends at Spokane International Airport! 🎉

Spokane International Airport (GEG) has completed the Concourse C Expansion Project. The project represents the first fully completed component of the multi-phase Terminal Renovation and Expansion (TREX) Program. This is a monumental step forward towards the organization’s long-term vision to enhance the air travel experience for Inland Northwest passengers.

Spokane Mayor Lisa Brown, Spokane City Council President Betsy Wilkerson, Spokane County Commissioner Mary Brooks, Spokane County Commissioner Al French along with representatives from Alaska Airlines and the construction manager and contractor joint venture Garco|QD Construction, joined leaders from the airport and community to commemorate the occasion during a formal dedication ceremony.
