Join us for First Friday at Helix as we welcome featured artist Michael Dinning on Friday, May 1st from 4–7 PM.

Michael’s work blends painted canvas with found objects to create large-scale pieces that explore identity, memory, and the unseen rhythms that shape our lives. Inspired by history, place, family, and music, each piece is designed to feel both immediately engaging and quietly thought-provoking, capturing something deeper than a single narrative.

A Spokane-based singer-songwriter and guitarist, Daniel brings a soulful, genre-blending sound that pulls from rock, jazz, blues, and folk. Inspired by artists ranging from Tom Petty to Dream Theater, his performances pair skilled guitar work with heartfelt vocals for a set that is both dynamic and easy to settle into with a glass in hand.

A graduate of Spokane Falls Community College’s audio engineering program, Daniel has been playing since age 12 and continues to share his passion for music through both band collaborations and solo performances.

Kick back, sip, and enjoy live music in the heart of Spokane.

Carmenère weekend is April 3-4 (Spring Kick-off for the WW Valley!) and as the longest producer of Carmenère in Washington, we have something special planned.

We’ll be pouring a barrel sample of Seven Hills Carmenère alongside current and library vintages, giving you a chance to taste Carmenère at completely different stages.
