We believe everyone needs art โ€” and that a more just and vibrant Spokane is possible through creativity, economic opportunity, and the collective action of everyone who dares to create.

They did the thing!!! ๐Ÿ’œ

After weeks of dreaming big, building confidence, sharpening ideas, and putting in the work, this incredible group stepped into a room full of people and shared their businesses, passions, and creative visions โ€” and WOW, did they deliver.

Weโ€™re endlessly proud of these brilliant humans for showing up, taking risks, and absolutely knocking it out of the park. Spokane, keep your eyes on these folksโ€ฆ theyโ€™re making moves.

Huge love to our Creative Enterprise coaches and co-instructors, Lu Hill () and Katie Staib, for guiding this yearโ€™s cohort with care and encouragement every step of the way.

And a MASSIVE thank you to our program partners for helping make this program possible:

Johnston-Fix Foundation
Bank of America
Washington State Microenterprise Association
Greater Spokane Incorporated
Spaceworks Tacoma

To everyone who showed up and cheered them on, thank you. What a special night. ๐Ÿ’ซ

Congratulations!๐ŸŽ‰

Calling all artists! ๐Ÿ“ฃโœจ

Weโ€™re teaming up with our friends at Artist Trust for a workshop all about their Grants for Artist Projects (GAP) โ€” what they are, how they work, and how to put together a strong application.

Led by 2021 GAP recipient and beloved local hip-hop artist, Devonte Pearson, this 1.5-hour workshop will cover the ins and outs of the grant process, plus tips for making your application stand out.

GAP grants are unrestricted, project-based awards of $2,500, supporting 65 artists across all disciplines throughout Washington State. Got a project idea brewing? This might be your sign ๐Ÿ‘€
