Our Certified Housing Counselors teach education classes on budgeting, credit and mortgage basics to help families become mortgage ready. Community Frameworks’ Development Services team works with city, county, tribal, non-profit and other entities as a full-service real-estate developer to provide project planning, determine feasibility, assemble financing packages and facilitate the construction of affordable housing and/or supportive service facilities. This includes apartment buildings, emergency shelters, senior housing, and special needs housing and services. Community Frameworks Self-help Homeownership Opportunity Program (SHOP) uses grants from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to provide zero-interest forgivable loans to non-profit organizations and public agencies that sponsor self-help homeownership programs in the Northwest.
