:As I head into my second session of my first term, I am focused on delivering practical, people-centered solutions that strengthen Spokane from the ground up.

That includes legislation that will incentivize development, reduce barriers for builders, and ensure our region grows in a way that benefits all of us.

This session, I’m advancing policy that:

👍🏾 Authorizes Land Banks to support affordable housing and implement a Universal Building Exemption to incentivize community development and stop land prospecting.

👍🏾 Expands access to treatment, housing, child care and jobs to ensure better public health and safety outcomes that punitive measures cannot provide.

👍🏾 Protects and uplifts our immigrant and refugee communities, who are essential to Spokane’s economy, culture, and future.

👍🏾 Strengthens voting rights to prevent dilution and protect every voice in our democracy.

To continue this work, I need your support.

Before the legislative fundraising freeze begins on December 12, our campaign is hoping to raise an initial $10,000 to keep our campaign competitive and ensure more progressive leadership - and progress - for Spokane.

Can you donate today to help us reach our fundraising goal before the winter freeze?

Your contribution directly fuels the organizing, outreach, and policy efforts that keep Spokane’s needs at the forefront in Olympia, and so does YOUR VOICE!

I also want to hear from YOU! Tell us what YOU want to see prioritized in the Washington State Legislature. Your input shapes the policy we champion and the outcomes we strive to achieve and we want to hear from you.

I believe deeply that our community is strongest when we look out for our family, friends, and neighbors — not just in our homes or workplaces, but across our city and throughout our state. Let’s go!
