My name is Nicki and I am the owner and operator of Optimize Learning, an educational consulting and tutoring company. I have been in education for 20 years and have worked with all ages in both public and private schools. Celebrating my 2nd year on Facebook but only my 2nd DAY of posting! lol!! 😂 Yes, I started Optimize Learning 2 years ago as a tutoring side hustle, and I wasn’t sure if it would be successful, and I didn’t post anything in Facebook. It took 6 months to get my first client and I held her sessions at a library. A month later I had 3 clients that I met with at 2 different libraries. A few more months lead to a few more clients and in April 2024 I rented an office space for tutoring. In April 2025 I began getting multiple calls a week from potential clients and my summer schedule was 100% pre-booked with 25 clients! At that point I made the decision to resign from teaching at public school so that my “side hustle” could be my full-time job! Yes it is a little scary to step away from a consistent paycheck, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE tutoring and I am SO excited to see what lies ahead! So….2 years in and I am finally posting on Facebook! 🤗🎉
