Our clients came to us with a 900sf cabin on Lake Pend Oreille dripping with fish wallpaper, green carpet, and lava rock. Not only was she ready for a glow up, but they needed it to fit a king size bed AND sleep two littles in the loft until they built a bunk house in a few years. We said goodbye to the wallpaper and made use of every square inch by adding bunks under the dormers of the loft. If this spot gives us cabin fever in the best way

When our clients decided to clad almost the whole exterior of their home with stone, we couldn’t help ourselves from connecting the spaces by bringing some of the over-mortared stone into the interior. The obvious choice would have been to cover the floor to ceiling fireplace, but we just couldn’t get on bored (see what we did there ;)) with the obvious. Instead we dreamt up this range cove, dripping in stacked stone & calcutta marble, flanked by the most beautiful arched doors we ever did see.

What a difference a year & a hundred gallons of paint can make ✨ The windows at were in amazing condition, but almost almond in color. Initial thoughts were to get them to white, but we talked everyone into black & think it made all the difference. We’ve had multiple clients question if windows other than white are considered timeless & our answer is HELL YES! Depending on the architecture & style of the home, we love to go black, wood, or to match the trim & casework of the room. Are you team white windows only or team keep ‘em guessing?
