ACOTE is recognized as the accrediting agency for occupational therapy education by both the United States Department of Education (USDE) and the council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). (NBCOT®) is a national not-for-profit organization that provides certification for occupational therapy professionals. NBCOT® develops, administers, and continually reviews its certification process based on current and valid standards that provide reliable indicators of competence of occupational therapy practice. NBCOT® exam pass rate for EWU Department of Occupational Therapy: New graduate NBCOT® certification exam test takers in 2021 demonstrated a pass rate of 100%.
