Into the Forest Learning Center

schools in the area, that offer a safe place for children to explore and problem solve in outdoor adventures. Right now there is not a facility that supports this need for outdoor learning in the area and we intend to be the first outdoor leaning center in this area, with hopes to one day expand to several different facilities throughout Spokane Valley, Liberty lake and Newman lake/Otis Orchards area. We plan to have daily real life experiences for every child to learn from while outside as well as inside. We will go on weekly hikes to see the wooded areas near us as well as bring nature inside with lots of hands on learning opportunities. We will have an outside music and art area at the facility and we will be outside rain or shine, as long as the kids want to be outside we will be out there. We both have over 10 years of experience in child care as well as children of our own. We both believe that an outdoor learning environment is the best environment for children to learn things that are meaningful and relevant to their everyday life. We hope that our childcare center will grow through word of mouth. We will provide high quality care that is individualized for every child and family’s needs. We are very excited to begin this journey!
