Reminder: enter your Color of the Year Challenge quilt to the WSQ Quilt Show by August 2nd. You do not need to have the quilt completed, just an estimate of the finished size.

Join us for the 2nd Annual Quilt Round Up September 19th from 10AM-6PM where colorful quilts, talented makers, and a welcoming community come together to celebrate the art of quilting in the Methow Valley. Whether you’re an experienced quilter, a fiber arts enthusiast, or simply love handcrafted beauty, this is an event you won’t want to miss.

Pick up your scavenger hunt passport at the tent outside of the downtown Visitor Information Center on Riverside Ave from 10AM-5PM and try to find all the quilts on display around town. The cost per passport is $5 with all proceeds supporting the Shafer Museum. Upon purchase, you are automatically entered into a raffle for a quilt and gift baskets filled with local goodies. The drawing will be held at Lost River Winery at 6PM, winners do not need to be present to win.

Make a weekend of it! Wander Winthrop’s historic boardwalks, browse unique boutiques and galleries, enjoy delicious local dining, and take in the breathtaking mountain scenery.
