I’m so sorry for the enormous gap in posting. I’ll go live later this evening to discuss good starter credit cards 🙃

Did you know you can add your tiny humans (minor children) as AUTHORIZED USERS to your credit card(s)?

Adding your little broke best friends as authorized users establishes a CREDIT AGE and PAYMENT HISTORY for them. *Just remember that whatever you do/do not do will have an affect (be it positive or negative).

If you decide to add your child(ren) to your credit card(s), make sure you continue to make your payments on time and stay under the 30% credit utilization.

And YES, it is completely legal, as there is no legal, minimum age for adding a tiny human as an authorized user (however, please make sure you check the card issuer's policies before doing so).

THE PROFILE PIC IS OF OUR 18 YEAR OLD’S CREDIT REPORT PULLED ON 5/6/2023 through Credit Karma. (She recently turned 18 in April). Just 7 points away from EXCELLENT credit, and she’s only been 18 for three weeks!
(We added her and our two other tiny humans to our credit cards two years ago).
