GED Preparation and pre-employment training for out of school youth and dropouts, ages 15-21, for Spartanburg, Cherokee and Union Counties. ACHIEVE provides transportation to and from class, with regular class hours as 9am - 1pm, Monday-Thursday. In addition, we provide paid work experiences, leadership skills activities and mentoring. ACHIEVE is funded by the Upstate Workforce Investment Board and administered by University of South Carolina Upstate.
ACHIEVE participated in two outreach events last night, one at the Spartanburg County LIbrary Communities Matter and at the Vocational Rehab on Church St, Spartanburg, at the Transition Alliance event. Today, Ranee, our certification specialist and business manager, is in Union at the Wellvista event at the Truluck Center.

Kendall trained in CellBotics with Nikki Russell, the CellBotics instructor and mentor. Kendall is now doing a follow-up work experience in cellphone repair. Thank you, Nikki!!
ACHIEVE students are getting ready for a big September with lots of leadership skills training and advanced skills training. More to come as these happen!!

ACHIEVE family Thanksgiving feast USC Upstate after completing the ornaments for the Mobile Meals recipients. We will deliver on Dec 16.
