The issue of frozen water hoses during winter has been effectively resolved. By installing 150 feet of heat tape along the hoses with auto waterers and wrapping them in pipe insulation, the task of hauling water buckets is no longer necessary. Coupled with trough warmers for the herd and ducks, these will also remain ice-free. Repurposed coolers provide excellent insulation for the junction points.
