The Cardboardbox Project is a music merchandising business. We manage
design, production and sales of artist merchandise at shows and
online. In short, we make the wildest merch dreams come true for some
of the most successful touring musicians and bands in the world. If

read on and apply to our job posting.We are looking for a smart, energetic, detail-oriented production
manager. A person with strong leadership, communication, and computer
skills who works well within a team structure. Strong administration
skills are a must. Experience in the apparel and merchandising
industry is a big asset.

Work skills
-Proficient in English (Primary) and French, both verbal and written skills.
-Experience with customer service and client management.
-High-level leadership skills - the ability to manage and coordinate
with team members and suppliers daily.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
-Knowledge and understanding of the garment, screen printing, and
promotional industry is a bonus.
-Strong listening and communication skills.
-Resourceful and self-directed.
-Adept at balancing projects with several departments while working
under tight deadlines.
-Able to handle a fast-paced and sometimes unpredictable workflow.

Work responsibilities
-Preparing job orders and quotes for clients using our internal
web-based management platform.
-Placing purchase orders with suppliers and production partners.
-Shipping and logistics responsibilities that include sending shipping
instructions to our suppliers, tracking information and packing lists
to our clients. All workflow is managed centrally from our web-based
management platform.
-Planning and organizing production schedules and strategies with team
members and production partners.
-Reviewing and approving supplier order confirmations.
-Assigning daily tasks to team members.
-Liaising with suppliers, and print partners to maintain efficient
workflow and timely delivery of goods.
-Additional administrative tasks involve answering the phone, note
taking at the staff meeting, and managing the internal business
calendar.

Contract length - 2 months of paid training and a 12-month contract,
with the potential to advance into a long-term permanent position.

The position is full-time - 40 hrs per week
