The extremely rare antique Turkish silk Masterpiece, 340 x 270 cm over 1 Mio knots per sqm Late 19th Century.

Due to the tremendous value of the Safavid Piece, in the late 19th century this exquisite work of Art was Recreated in extremely high quality 100% pure silk in the Hereke factory.

This "Hereke rug" is an extraordinary pictorial canvas that invites the viewer to take to various historical periods a walk through an enchanting country with real and fascinating stories.

Kerman, Persian, late 16th century, Museum of Decorative Arts, Paris

When in the 15th & 16th centuries the miniature painters were given the task of designing carpets, this magnificent carpet was made by prominent painters and artists of the Timurid dynasty and Great masters like Kamaluddin Behzad. This is the beginning and turning point in the history of Persian carpets, which has created a unique masterful chisel of painters. This Safavid piece is in the Museum of Decorative Arts, Paris is the first example of this style is created by Grandmaster Kamaluddin Behzad in the 16th century in Kerman.
