🍝 The Italian sausage recipe at this South Haven restaurant is over 70 years old, and they still make it from scratch every morning.
Same family. Same recipe. Same kitchen, just a couple blocks from the lake.
That's Maria's Taste Of Italy, run by the Distefano family on Center Street in downtown South Haven. The meatballs are homemade daily too, and the portions are the kind where three people eat for $50 and still take home a second meal.
The breadsticks have their own fan base. The stuffed shells and lasagna hit like Sunday dinner at someone's grandmother's house.
They even do gelato and delicious homemade pies if you somehow have room left for dessert.
