IN*SOURCE (the Indiana Resource Center for Families with Special Needs) is a non-profit organization that provides resources and training to parents to help them better manage and impact their child's special education. We provide phone, email, and social media contact support, classroom and online training, promote the special education process, and provide strategies to help parents and schools

Transition skills are not just for the classroom! Summer provides opportunities for students to practice independence, build confidence, and apply skills in real world settings. Everyday activities like shopping, volunteering, using public transportation, managing a schedule, or practicing self advocacy can help students strengthen skills that support greater independence after high school. Every experience counts!
