FRIDAY 6/19 OPEN SOCCER ON THE BIG SCREEN WITH THE SOUND ON! (yes we are yelling)

OUR NEXT BTB: 6/15 Mezonte Raicilla Japo. A long time personal favorite of Daren Swisher. Hailing from the west coat of Jalisco on a cape south of Puerto Vallarta this incredible and unique agave spirit is terroir in a bottle. Made from agave amarillo, cooked in an earthen pit, hand mashed, distilled in a cooper and wooden still. The complexity of this spirit is pretty much unparalleled. Smoke, wood, herbs, fruit, it’s got it all. Truly unique and outstanding juice. $7.21/oz until it’s gone! Misty Kalkofen will be here for a bit too, she might even have a few extra things to share 😉

UP NEXT FOR BTB JURA 18YR. The Jura 10 year has long been one of our go to whiskies for cocktails. We love the distillery’s “Highland on the Island” style. The Jura distillery is on the east coast of the Isle of Jura located off the west coast of Scotland (stay with us, it gets less confusing I promise). Known for the soft water and sea air influence these malts are an oft overlooked gems and a great value. The 18-year spends 16 years in ex-bourbon casks and finishes for 2 years in the world’s finest red wine barrels. Elegant notes of cherry, chocolate and licorice are rounded out by a refined smokiness. Bottled at 88 proof and only $6.18/oz this Monday!

BREAK THE BOTTLE 6/1 SUYO ANDEAN BRANDY. Popping something very limited and unique with our friend from this Monday! Made from 100% Quebranta grapes grown at the base of the Andes, this limited 2023 Andean Brandy was aged for one year in heavily charred French oak barrels. Non chill filtered and bottled at 43.1% ABV, only 280 bottles were produced. Full bodied taste with distinct notes of spices and ripe fruit. Subtle notes of vanilla and black pepper. $5.15/oz until it’s gone!

MONDAY 5/25 Our next break the bottle is one of our favorite single malts, Clynelish 14 year! One of the “four pillars” of Johnnie Walker 95% of this distillery’s output goes towards those iconic blends with very little bottled as stand alone single malt.

A compelling combination of northern highland style and overt sea influence the 14-year is sweetly floral, with beeswax, smoke and sea air aromatics. On the palate a constellation of baked pastry, fruit, both sweet and savory spices, umami, a touch of peat, and a dry ,waxy, orchard fruit driven finish. Bottled at 46% if you are a whisk(e)y fan you know this one is not to be missed! Only $5.15/oz!

MONDAY 5/18 OUR NEXT BREAK THE BOTTLE: 2016 Evan William Single Barrel! Cracking into another long time favorite of ours. Always a bit of a sleeper but a great value, it actually went off the market and was only available in Kentucky for a few years.
Fortunately our long national nightmare is over and we can once again bask in the unfussy deliciousness of this single barrel bourbon. Aged for 8 years and bottled at 86.6 proof this single barrel is loaded with notes of baking spice, vanilla and caramelized sugar. It really checks all of the boxes a good bourbon should and is still one of the best values in american whiskey. Only $5.15/oz!
