Handcrafted near Kyoto’s Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Kiyomizuyaki is a rare and valuable type of pottery designated as a national traditional craft. Each piece is crafted entirely by hand using time-honored techniques, resulting in subtle variations in color and shape that embody the unique artistry of this tradition.
