Public service for me started long before this campaign. I was raised to believe in unity, and through my lived experiences, I've built community from the ground up. Inspired by the grassroots hope sparked by Barack Obama, I know real change begins with everyday people.
As a candidate for State Representative, I don't just speak about community. I've built it. I don't just talk about service. I've lived it. These lived experiences are what truly set me apart from other candidates because my leadership has always been rooted in action, not just intention.
I'm honored to have earned the endorsements from Assistant Minority Leader & District 19 State Representative Phil Robinson; District 6 Cuyahoga County Councilman Robert Schleper; and Cleveland Business Leader & Philanthropist Albert Radner, along with many other trusted leaders. Their support reflects the confidence these leaders have in my ability to serve and lead District 19 effectively.
I humbly ask the constituents of District 19 for your vote on May 5th. With the trust of these respected leaders, I am ready to serve, and I hope to earn your confidence as well.

It was a lovely day to knock on doors! Norman and I were delighted to speak with residents of District 19 and engage with them about their concerns. I would also like to express my gratitude to the rest of our team for knocking on doors and distributing literature.
Norman and I had a fantastic time knocking doors today. We had the opportunity to speak with numerous District 19 residents, discussing the issues that matter to them and outlining my plans to address them. I am incredibly grateful for our team of young, passionate Democrats, who are not only the future of our Democracy but also the future of District 19.
I am excited to continue speaking with more District 19 residents and gaining insights into the challenges they face daily.
Stay warm, District 19!
Young people of District 19, this campaign is about you! You are not just the future, you are the right now, and your voice, your ideas, and your leadership deserve a real seat at the table. I’m running for State Representative because you deserve real opportunity: quality education, good-paying jobs, safe communities, accessible mental health resources, and the freedom to build your future right here at home.
As a mom of a recent college graduate, I understand both the promise and the pressures you’re navigating, and I’m committed to fighting for policies that help you thrive, not just survive, because when young people succeed, District 19 succeeds.
Join our mission. Volunteer, get involved, or simply be part of the conversation. Drop your questions in the comments and tell me what matters most to you. Your voice matters. Your vote matters. Let’s build what’s next together. 💛 💙

Today we mourn the passing of an extraordinary leader whose life changed the course of our nation’s struggle for justice and equality. Rev. Jackson dedicated more than five decades to lifting up the unheard, advocating for voting rights, economic opportunity, and human dignity.
He didn’t just fight for civil rights—he lived them in every speech, every march, and every protest. Because of his courage, more leaders of my generation and younger have been inspired to step forward, to serve, and to believe that representation matters. His legacy isn’t simply history—it’s a living call to action.
Rest in peace and in power, Rev. Jesse Jackson, 1941–2026 🕊️

Ohio lawmaker revising bill that would punish school districts for suing over vouchers Rep. Jamie Callender plans to revise House Bill 671, a bill that would withhold funding from public school districts challenging Ohio's voucher programs in court. Critics of the proposal say they believe it still will be unconstitutional.
