Lady’s country kitchen, watching homemade fruit pies being made from scratch from Beveridge’s biodynamic vineyard. The intimate kitchen is surrounded with award winning Wilridge wines and brandies. Each guest is greeted with a pie, wine and cocktail pairing menu. The PIE WINE BAR is an interactive experience, from the distinct aromas of fresh baked pie coming out of the oven, watching the artisan’s work in action, to feeling the tasting notes from the pairings. The wine bar is the first of its kind for complimenting tasting notes of Beveridge’s award winning biodynamic organic wines and spirits with Bleifuss’s famous fruit pies. Both partners have had decades of success on their own with mastering their crafts. Alyssa Bleifuss is the cofounder of the Seattle Pie Company, The Pie Bar, The Pie Lady, Pie Wine Bar and Pie Bar Charlie. Her award winning Humble Crumble, and Chocolate Bourbon Pecan have been featured on The Food Network, The Cooking Channel, The Oprah Winfrey Network, and The Travel Channel. Alyssa is the first American female baker to create a pie bar concept pairing homemade slices of pie with cocktails operating during late night hours. Her appearance on Buddy Valastro’s show, “Bake You Rich”, earned her a spot in The Cake Boss’s inner circle. Paul is the cofounder of Wilridge Vineyard, Winery. Beveridge has been making award winning wines for over thirty years. From the beginning, Paul has focused on wines that reflect the "terroir" of their vineyard sites rather than current fashion or the latest winemaking trends. As such, his wines are more "European" in character than most new world wines. He recently furthered his European philosophy of letting the grapes and the wines reflect their place of origin by planting his own vineyard on Naches Heights near Yakima following organic and biodynamic principles.
