​We are still smiling after a successful Doggie Easter Egg Hunt here at A Canine Experience. It was a day filled with fun, focus, and—most importantly—community spirit.

​We are proud to announce that the event raised nearly $450 to support Snohomish County 4H Youth. Thank you to all the handlers and pups who came out to play and support a great cause!

​Public access training isn't just about "behaving"—it’s about working through life as it happens. Today, we’re at Sound to Summit Brewing in Snohomish for a high-stakes SDIT mission.

​🧠 Mowgli (Medical Alert SDIT): Jenny's partner, staying locked in on medical alerts while she navigates being symptomatic.
​💼 Rolo (Diabetic Alert SDIT): Practicing rock-solid focus and "under" in a high-distraction environment.
​💅 Caper: Our resident K9 Fitness Guru, providing expert supervision.

✨ Try It Tuesday: Focus & Foundations 🐾🧠
​Tuesday in the training yard is all about building a stronger bond through clear communication. Today, we’re sharing a behind-the-scenes look at Autumn and Skye putting in the work!

​This session was a mini masterclass in leash work and confidence building. By practicing intentional handling and engagement, Autumn is helping Skye find a calm, focused state of mind even in a busy environment.

​At A Canine Experience, we believe that training the mind is just as important as training the body. Every successful step builds Skye’s confidence, teaching her to choose engagement with her handler over the distractions around her. Seeing this team grow is what it’s all about!

Happy Thinker Thursday! Today, we’re taking you behind the scenes of some very special work happening here at A Canine Experience.
Mowgli is currently deep in his medical alert training. This isn't just about "sit" and "stay"—it’s about scent discrimination, high-level focus, and learning to communicate a potentially life-saving alert. Every session is a massive "brain day" for a service dog in training.

We are so proud of the work being done in our Service Dog Program to help handlers regain their independence through these incredible partnerships.

But Mowgli isn’t the only one working hard. We’ve been barking up a new tree behind the scenes... and we finally get to let the dog out of the bag on June 1st.
