🎆 The United States turns 250 years old today, and that got us thinking...here are a few other things that also happened around 250 years ago:

🎼 Beethoven was born just a few years earlier than the U.S in 1770
🦈There are Greenland Sharks over 250 years old
🌳 Many of the Oak, Redwood and Sequoia trees we see are older than our Declaration of Independence
🐢 Some giant tortoises alive today are old enough to have witnessed a remarkable chunk of our US history
🏡 There are homes built 250 years ago in Boston, Philadelphia and Charleston that are now treasured historic landmarks
