The Awkward Cup

The Awkward Cup temporarily closed its doors on 08/06/22 as a health precaution to ensure our customers would be safe from harm each time they visited their favorite smoothie shop.

We were notified of a plumbing leak (caused by vandalism) that resulted in the flooding of our neighboring building, formally China Chef Restaurant. Due to the poor response time of all parties responsible, our shop took on some water and mold began forming under our restroom sink.

Currently, there is no timetable set for cleanup and repair, but our insurance company is working diligently to have this issue resolved. For now, our doors will remain closed and all scheduled events for the month of August are canceled.

We truly apologize if you wasted a trip stopping by, or if your party/gathering had to be canceled due to these circumstances.
