This week, our 5th grade gifted students learned about the justice system by touring the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center. Judge Gallant and Lieutenant Hilliard gave presentations, and then showed students a courtroom, jury selection room, control center, and holding cells. This enhanced their current unit on the legal system, and helped students prepare for their upcoming mock trial — A negligence case about the Titanic.
