I love a good before and after!

20” Volume Weft Dark Brown #2
20” Tapes Midnight Ice Blonde /60

For this application, I sewed three rows of volume wefts and added tapes directly on the wefts. I used the wefts to create maximum volume and the tapes to add the blonde balayage pieces. One of the perks of adding tapes to wefts is there is no maintenance for the tapes. When your guest comes in for maintenance appointments you just do a move-up or reinstall on the wefts and the tapes need no maintenance.

Where to add tapes: depending on where the dimensional colors lay depends on where to put the tapes. For this look, I added them to the top weft across the entire weft. (Remember by adding tapes, it adds more weight to the extensions. Take that into consideration that their natural hair needs to be able to support the weight of the weft and the weight of the tapes.) Next, I added tapes to the middle row just on the ends of each side. Creating more lightness around her face. Lastly, I added tapes on the underneath of her bottom row. By adding tapes on the underneath of her nape row it gives the hair some dimension from the underneath. It creates more of a natural look when the hair is pulled In front.
