By taking a few safeguards, you can keep your love one secure and content on Halloween, nevertheless.

For some seniors, Halloween raises fundamental safety concerns. Here are some things that add to their worries:
🎃Costumes and decorations
🎃Slick pavements
🎃Falling leaves
🎃Fewer daylight hours
🎃Unpredictable weather conditions

Consider the following tips to help ease the minds of our seniors.
1. Remove the outdoor pumpkins and decorations if they do not want to distribute candy.
2. Close the drapes and turn off all outdoor lighting as well.
3. Additionally, you may hang a sign that reads, "No More Candy!
" or a similar statement to deter trick-or-treaters.
4. Keep them away from pathways and assist them if he/she decides to hand out candy while wearing decorations.
5. You may hang a sign that reads, "No More Candy!
" or a similar statement to deter trick-or-treaters. After they have finished handing out candies, turn on nightlights in the rooms and passageways.
6. Do not place window decorations that block the light or views of main entrances, such as the front door.
7. If carving pumpkins with them, use safe carving tools and light them with fake candles.
8. If you do not want to use pumpkin carving tools, try painting them instead.
In addition, keep pumpkins outside to keep the decaying and consequent bugs outside.

10. Keep in mind that Halloween can be stressful due to the scary costumes and added stimulation from doorbells and outside noises. Be conscious of your love one or client’s wishes and tolerances and keep them safe and comfortable.
