I would encourage us to build new friends and strengthen our family and friendships this year as we take stock of losses of loved ones this past year. It really makes me aware of how important loved ones are. I thank God for the gift of loved ones and for His incredible power in getting through loss. It really helps to get back to our lives, but also to reexamine how we connect with others.
